Our family reunion was in July of last year. We all drove to Chicago together for it. They took such good care of me, and you know, early on I was resistant to that kind of treatment. Read More Read More Now I just eat it up. You let people be nice to you. If they want to let me go first in line, I'll do that. You want to get a plate of food for me, you can do that for me—those kinds of things, especially if there is a crowd.
Let people help you at the airport. Everything is so far away. They have a whole collection of wheelchairs for you, and you could ask for one ahead of time. When you get there, they come to your car and get you with the wheelchair and just scoot you all around the place. And it's wonderful. Close Close
